LOOGU layering system

Build your layers. Adapt to the day.

Five clothing categories give you options as the weather, terrain and pace change. Start with a comfortable foundation, then choose the warmth and outer coverage your day calls for.

You do not need to wear all five together. Add, remove or swap pieces as you move and stop.

Layer 1

Base Layer

Start with a light foundation.

Lightweight tees, long sleeves and hoodies form the first part of your clothing system. Wear a piece on its own in mild conditions, or under a warmer layer as the day changes.

Choose the sleeve length, neckline and fit that feel comfortable with the rest of your clothing.

When to choose it

For a light start, a more active stretch of the day, or a comfortable first layer beneath a fleece or jacket.

Layer 2

Mid Layer

Add warmth you can adjust.

Pullovers, hoodies and vests add a flexible layer between a light top and your outer clothing. Choose sleeves for more coverage, or a vest when you prefer to leave your arms free.

Fleece and lightweight vest options sit in this group. Select the construction that suits your pace and the layers you already have.

When to choose it

For a cooler start, a slower pace or an extra layer you can remove as you warm up.

Insulation

Bring extra warmth to your core.

An insulating vest adds warmth around your torso without another set of sleeves. The RM10 combines quilted insulation with an electric heating system.

Choose its fit around your intended layers, and check the product page for power requirements and operating instructions.

When to choose it

When you want an additional warming option during slower activity or time spent in one place.

Layer 4

Softshell

Choose your outer coverage.

This group brings together fleece-lined jackets and outer pants. Match a jacket and pant to the coverage you want, with room for the lighter clothing beneath.

Construction and weather protection vary by style. Use each product page to compare the fabric and features that matter for your trip.

When to choose it

For a jacket or outer pant that completes your everyday hunting outfit. Select dedicated rainwear when rain protection is part of the plan.

Layer 5

Hardshell

Keep a rain layer in the plan.

Rain jackets, pants, suits and ponchos provide different ways to add an outer rain layer. Choose a separate shell, a coordinated suit or broader poncho coverage to suit your setup.

Check each style for its material, seam construction and stated rain protection. Allow room for the layers you expect to wear underneath.

When to choose it

When rain is expected, or when you want a rain layer ready to add over the clothing you are already wearing.
